About Concierge Medicine

I believe the patient experience begins from the moment you call our office. When you are in need of an appointment, you will be seen promptly. When you enter the office, you will be given a warm friendly greeting in a soothing and inviting environment while receiving the highest level of medical expertise. During your office visit, you will be the center of attention with your needs attended to as if you were a member of my extended family.
You will be able to see me on the same day or within 24 hours of your call. Your appointment time will be honored and you will be seen promptly, in an unhurried fashion. I intend to ensure there will be ample opportunity to understand and address your medical needs at each visit. In general your annual wellness exam will be 60 minutes and all other appointments will be scheduled for 30 minutes to allow enough time to address all of your needs.
During office hours, my staff will answer your calls directly and will assist you with your needs. I encourage my patients to call with any questions or concerns regarding their health. If consultation with me is needed and I am unable to take your call immediately, I will return your call promptly. After office hours or on weekends and holidays, you can reach me directly on my cell phone for urgent issues at any time of the day or night whether you are at home or traveling.
You will always be seen by me since I am the doctor who knows you best. However, during my occasional absence from the office, a trusted physician colleague will be available for urgent issues.
If a parent opts to join my personalized care practice, I will be happy to care for his/her dependent children between the ages of 16-26 without an additional annual fee.
If you are ill or otherwise unable to come to the office, a house call or selected nursing home visit may be offered at no additional charge beyond an office visit fee, on a case-by-case basis. Additionally, in situations where telecommunications is appropriate, we may use Skype to communicate.
If serious illness or injury should occur, I will function as the admitting physician and will have primary medical responsibility for your hospital care and continue to advocate on your behalf. It is my intent that you will not be cared for by a hospitalist. If you are admitted to the ER, on a case-by-case basis, I will be there to provide support as permitted by the ER.
My practice focuses on prevention and wellness, not just taking care of you when you are ill. I recognize for those who truly value their health, having a physician as an advocate is the ideal doctor-patient relationship. You will receive an annual Executive Level Wellness Evaluation, which will be the cornerstone of your personalized wellness plan created to keep you feeling your best.
I will be there in the hospital as well as in the office to help you navigate the maze of modern medical care. I will not only serve as your internist, but also as your wellness advocate and healthcare partner by working with other medical specialists who may be involved with your care. I will offer counsel regarding serious illness and end-of-life issues.
As a member of my practice you can expect to receive a high standard of care. You will receive my honest, compassionate and heartfelt dedication to your individual needs in a truly comprehensive manner.
